The current conflict between the Israelites and the Palestinians is a crying shame. Why is Israel allowed to close the border and keep reporters and humanitarian aid out of Gaza? Hamas has sent over 300 rockets into Israel and 4 people have been killed, that is tragic, but over 300 Palestinians have been killed. The Palestinians infrastructure is being destroyed by the Israelis air strikes into Gaza, and if that’s not bad enough Israel has rejected a cease-fire. The Israelis talk about peace; somehow I don’t believe them. I find the US position with Israel a disgrace. With everything that’s happening in the world today… it can only be described as theater of the absurd. DH
