I will try a journalistic approach to this version of GumboArt.net, something that has failed in the past. A stream of consciousness: ala Kerouac. Topics will be diverse, and may read like the incoherent twaddle of an artist with ADD. That is it, of course, you decide.
No doubt, we are global now. It has taken many years, but we have arrived. Tolerating, even seeing beauty in differences, is a way of life. There is no turning back; the realization that we all share the same world is clear to more and more people. The good old days are ahead of us, for a better tomorrow.
Ideas can come at you from any direction, at any hour of the day or night. There is no fountain, or substance, you can go to on a regular basis and find what you need. You may hit the Mother Lode; but making sense of it all, and distilling it down to its very essence will wreak havoc, leaving you tired and spinning. This is ecstatic.
